I attended a friend's wedding back in 2020 and I was immediately wowed by the bride's look. I almost immediately set up a trial for myself:) I immediately knew I wanted to work with them on my big day. Liza and Elena are kind, professional and extremely talented. I don't normally wear a lot of make up (neither do my bridesmaids) and I wanted to look like myself on my big day. They listened to my concerns, looked my inspo pics and DELIVERED! I felt amazing on my big day, and most importantly I looked like an elevated version of myself. My make up lasted through sweat, happy tears, a lots of partying. I have fine hair that doesn't hold a curl very well. Liza convinced me to get hair extensions to help, and blended it in so well I forgot I was wearing them. I can go on forever on how wonderful these women are!! I highly, highly recommend Beauty Icon NYC <3

The person I had hired to do hair and makeup for me and my four bridesmaids, and the two moms tested positive for COVID the night before the wedding. Liza at Beauty Icon responded so quickly when I reached out asking for a backup, and helped to get Dasha and Anna up to speed for the next morning. I was a ball of nerves and very anxious about how it would go, especially since the previous artist had done my trial. It couldn't have been better. Dasha was so precise—down to the last curl and eyelash. Anna did just an incredible job with the moms and bridesmaids' makeup. They all loved talking to her, and felt so beautiful and confident the day of. Both Dasha and Anna were exceptionally professional and warm. I feel immensely lucky that we got to work with them, and am so grateful for their work.

I could not be happier with my hair and makeup by Beauty Icon NYC. From the moment I saw their instagram page I knew it was the exact style I was looking for. They did makeup and hair for myself and our bridesmaids and it was perfect. They were on time, finished right on schedule and made us all look beautiful. A special shoutout to Paulina who did my hair and makeup better than I could have imagined. I would absolutely work with them in the future and would recommend them to everyone!

Anna did my hair and makeup and did SUCH an incredible job! I felt like the most beautiful version of myself on my wedding day thanks to her (and the team who worked on my bridal party). Everyone was raving about my hair—Anna is such a pro and one of the sweetest vendors I hired!! Thank you so much ❤️

I am super picky with my hair and makeup and notorious for redoing it after getting it done and I was obsessed, I love Liza and her team! Everyone looked beautiful, I loved how modern everyone's hair looked and makeup was glowy and natural (but still special). I have received numerous texts after my wedding saying how much everyone loved Liza and I couldn't agree more!

If you're struggling to choose a HMUA, you absolutely cannot go wrong with the Beauty Icon team. I worked with Dasha for my wedding day, and truly felt that from the moment of my trial she understood exactly what I was looking for. I've never felt so beautiful, but also felt like I truly looked like myself (not to mention that the hair and makeup stood the test of a lot of tears and dancing!) Not only was the end result beautiful, but her and the team were so kind, patient, and lovely to work with on a hectic wedding morning with 10 of us getting our hair and makeup done. Everyone on the team is a joy to work with, including Liza, who I spoke with early in the process. I can't recommend them enough!

I found Beauty Icon on instagram and was already tired of my search to find makeup artists and hair stylists because many seems old fashioned to me. I was looking for a fun and soft look, something more natural with a glow and was scared to look too done up and not like myself. Paulina and Liz were exactly the artists&stylists I was looking for. They were so pleasant to work with and this is so important during the madness of wedding planning. -They were flexible in their arrival time which made the wedding day flow so much better. -My mom, mother-in-law and granda felt and looked so gorgeous and elegant. -My younger sister looked beautiful, the makeup and products that were used kept her looking fresh and were not heavy at all on her skin. -I had a very specific "natural but with a glow" look I was going for, and Paulina made sure I was loving it every step of the way (giving me the mirror, stopping and making sure I am happy). She put flowers in my hair, and when I looked in the mirror it was just perfect. Thank you so so much! <3.

Couldn’t recommend more for bridal hair and makeup! The team is super professional and flexible with any last-minute adjustments. My artist Caleigh did an AMAZING job with both my hair and makeup.

I worked with Paulina and loved my look on my wedding. Her team was super professional and arrived early despite the 2+ hour drive they had to get to my venue in upstate New York. I really wanted to look like myself and don't wear a lot of makeup generally and Paulina totally heard me - my make up was super natural, basically made me look like myself but way better! The trial was also great and totally worth it because I wasn't stressed on the day of as I knew exactly what it was going to look like.

One of the best decisions I made was booking Liza Ray and her Beauty Icon team for my wedding! Liza made me feel like an absolute celebrity. The quality of work is amazing. I feel lucky to have found her!! Not to mention Liza is so so sweet and down to earth and made sure I loved my look from the trial to the wedding day. My bridesmaids felt like they got the A-list treatment from the BeautyIcon team and they all looked stunning!! Would 1000% recommend to all my friends! My bridesmaid literally booked Liza for her wedding next Fall while she was doing her hair and makeup. Need I say more???

Working with Beauty Icon was amazing! Paulina was my main artist for hair and make up and she absolutely nailed what I wanted. She was on time for the trial and the day of our wedding. She let me give feedback at the trials and we tweaked the look. She was SUPER friendly and professional. I love all the work that Beauty Icon does. they are AMAZING.
