I had the pleasure to meet and work with Liza for my small wedding’s make up and hairstyle. First of all, I had to postpone my wedding twice due to delayed paperwork’s and she was the most flexible person ever, texting me back saying it was all good and that she would have waited for me. She did a classy elegant makeup and wavy hair for me, just as I requested. I remember she asked for inspo pictures and she did the same exact style I sent her. The makeup and the waves lasted a 3 hour long photoshoot in the rain and humidity, the ceremony, more pictures in the heat and sun that came out later in the day and they were impeccable for dinner. Liza also gave me a little bag with all the necessary items to retouch my makeup and hair during the day! She was the chilliest and funniest person to work and chat with, she made me feel at ease immediately, very caring and always making sure I was okay as I started to get nervous. Thank you Liza for making me feeling beautiful and confident on my special day. 100% absolutely recommended!

My experience with Beauty Icon NYC was outstanding. My wedding was planned in three weeks due to family health issues. I'm sure as you can imagine, finding vendors in that little of time was a bit of a challenge. However, Beauty Icon and especially Paulina came through big time! They were able to get me a makeup trial and then do even better the day of the wedding. Paulina was insanely fun to work with as her personality is both professional and up to date. Meaning that she is very relatable with everyone in the room and there was always a good laugh going on. <br> In the times of Covid as well, Paulina was very organized and had safe practices as well. While I'm positive this is a normal procedure for Beauty Icon, it was more reassuring that all brushes were new and clean and that masks were worn. This is something I valued a lot, as we had to take major precautions for the wedding to begin with. Beauty Icon NYC and Paulina were amazing. I would easily book them again.

Dasha and Galina were amazing! They were super prompt, on time, and all of my bridesmaids, aunts and mothers looked their absolute best! I couldn’t have asked for a more fun and professional group. Their attention to cleanliness and service we superb! Please hire them ASAP!

Liza, Paulina and their team are the absolute greatest! Liza did my hair and makeup for my engagement shoot and Paulina and her assistant did the hair and makeup for me and my bridesmaids on my wedding day. From trial to the big day, they were a dream to work with! They listened closely to what I was looking for and it was easy to have an open dialog with them about making adjustments. I trusted their expertise every step o the way and the results were beautiful. I was particularly impressed with how they helped each of my bridesmaids achieve their desired look on the wedding day---they all looked amazing! I really can't recommend Beauty Icon enough. I booked Beauty Icon for my hair and makeup services for our NYC engagement photos. Coming from Colorado, I was nervous about booking beauty services from afar. I did research for weeks looking for a HMUA who could travel to the hotel where my fiancé and I were staying prior to our photos, and someone who would be available to do services during the busy wedding season over the summer. I found Beauty Icon and sent them an inquiry and they responded in just a few hours! I communicated with Oxana through email to set up our date and time for our photos in Manhattan; she was always very pleasant and friendly and answered any and all questions that I had. She assured me that my HMUA would travel to our hotel to do my services in our room, and after browsing through their photos and reviews, I was sold. Not only that, but the prices they charge for their services will not cost you an arm and a leg, which was another reason I booked with them. I was booked with Elena M for my services and sent inspo photos to Oxana for my hair and makeup that she shared with Elena. Leading up to the day Elena communicated with me via text and I found that incredibly helpful! The day of, she showed up on time to our hotel, got her space prepped, and got to work. Elena was super friendly, kind, funny, and very easy to work with. She used the best makeup products and I was very impressed with her work and the time she took to execute my services. We chatted and laughed and she made sure to show me how I looked throughout the process to make sure I was happy with everything. I felt like a 20/10 when she left and I very much enjoyed my time with her! If you’re looking for hair and makeup services in Manhattan, I cannot recommend Beauty Icon (and Elena M) more! You will NOT be disappointed!

I am so happy that I choose them for my wedding hair and makeup, and I HIGHLY recommend their services. They were professional and attentive throughout the wedding planning process. I had a total of 10 people (including myself) getting hair and makeup done on the morning of my wedding. Before the wedding, Beauty Icon worked with me to make a schedule for everyone’s hair and makeup shifts. Beauty Icon made what could have been potentially a very stressful morning, completely easy. Karina, Alena, and Tara arrived on time (6:45am!) and were cheery and fun throughout the whole morning of getting ready! The best part of working with Beauty Icon was that the artists really highlighted everyone’s beauty and accentuated their best features naturally. They used high quality makeup and products, but didn’t cake them on. All our styles lasted beautifully till the end of the night. (Which is especially impressive, because it was an August wedding with a lot of dancing!). Karina did the bridal hair and makeup, and I felt glowing and confident the entire day thanks to her. Thank you again Beauty Icon!

The studio was extremely easy to work with. Studio manager Oxana was very responsive and matched me to the perfect artists for my style and price range. Julia and Marina worked wonders the day of my wedding. They were friendly and made each bridesmaid, my mother, and my mother-in-law feel gorgeous. Julia created a killer makeup look for me and the perfect hairstyle. I felt fantastic on my wedding day and lover every photo I've seen. Beauty Icon NYC is truly the best team for your NYC based beauty needs!

I have been working with Liz for the past few months preparing for my wedding in Brooklyn NY and it has been an absolute pleasure to work with her. With a busy work schedule, it feels like wedding planning is a 2nd job but with vendors like Liz who are extremely talented, communicative, thoughtful, and professional, it was honestly one of the best decisions I could have made for my wedding day. You will not regret booking any service, from helping you on your wedding day or if you just want to pamper yourself. I will definitely be calling on Liz again in the future! <br> On my wedding day, Liz and Paulina showed up punctually on time super early in the morning since I had a brunch reception. They knocked it out of the park! With 7 women, they completed everything early for photos and even jumped in last minute to do make up for 2 of my party! Everyone loved their hair and make up <br> I can't thank Liz and Paulina enough for their awesome work, fun attitudes, and ability to jump in last minute and make it all work! Also, I can't rave about my hair enough...if I could wear that hair everyday I totally would! Thank you so much for everything Liz and Paulina!

I worked with Liz to coordinate the all aspects of details including setting up the hair & make-up trial to the actual wedding day. She was very organized, responsive, patient and accommodating. Galina did both my hair & make-up trial and wedding day look. She took all of my notes, inspiration and feedback from the trial and tweaked it for my wedding day. I am so pleased with how both turned out!

Alena was able to change up my wedding day look up from what we tried in our bridal trial and I was so happy with the end results and her flexibility and talent. She made my natural curly hair look stunning in a low-bun and made me feel beautiful with a natural make-up look. I felt fantastic on my wedding day and I love every photo I've seen. I would recommend Beauty Icon NYC for your hair and make-up needs for your wedding day in a heart beat!

I’m so happy that Liza did my makeup and hair for my special day! I love her natural makeup works and I was sure that she will do a great job and I don’t need hair and makeup trial but my friend insisted that I should do it to make sure. And I didn’t regret, it was beautiful and helped me to understand what exactly I want. But I have to tell you the makeup that Liza did on my wedding day was even better! After trial I thought I can’t look better than now but I was wrong. She also did makeup for my sisters in law and they were in love with their look.

Liza & Paulina were just amazing. I cannot find the exact words to describe them both. They were on time, and ready with everything. Everyone had a different hairstyle that they picked at that exact moment and wow it all came out so beautiful. 100 % would hire them again.
