They were referred by my wedding planner and I could not have been more happy with them. They are true professionals and so nice, friendly, and fun to work with and they really understand the look their clients are going for. They listen to feedback, adjust accordingly and really know how to accentuate or compliment your best features. My bridesmaids and I LOVED our hair and makeup, it lasted perfectly throughout the whole evening and we had so much fun getting ready with them.

Paulina and Liz are amazing. They made all of my girls look so beautiful for my wedding. I have gotten so many compliments about how great everyone’s hair and makeup looked both on the day of and in photos. They are so professional — timely and very responsive. They even finished early with everyone the day of the wedding (impressive since they did hair and makeup for myself, 6 bridesmaids, 2 moms, and my officiant) which gave us more time to relax together before the ceremony! I also had Paulina stay to put my hair up and refresh my makeup after the ceremony and before the reception. She made it happen in 20 minutes! Really can’t recommend them enough. Thank you Paulina and Liz!!!

I had the pleasure of working with Sasha from Beauty Icon as my make-up and hair artist for my big day. She ran two trials with me leading up to the day. She killed it each time. I was unsure of what I wanted and was picky with certain elements, but she was patient and excellent with recommendations. I also hired Lisa and Anna B to cover about a dozen girls. Literally, every single bridesmaid, moms, and flower girls RAVED about their hair and make-up. My girls are picky but they were SO happy with the outcome, and for good reason. They all looked so beautiful. I'm extremely happy with Beauty Icon and would recommend them over and over again.

Liza was an absolute God sent for my wedding hair and makeup! Beyond her skill set, she brings a very calming and sweet demeanor with her. She was punctual, professional, hygienic, organized and all around amazing.

Paulina is the best! My friend’s sister hired BeautyIcon for her wedding, and the photos were great advertising for the team! I was thrilled with my results at both my trial and the wedding. I brought in a few photos of the look I wanted; Paulina was extremely thoughtful and responsive to my requests and provided helpful tweaks that enhanced the overall result.

Paulina, Liza, and Tatianna were amazing to work ever since the trial all the way to the wedding day. Every single person who got their hair and makeup done were in absolute awe of their work and could not stop raving about them. My makeup lasted the whole night, but made sure I had a touch up kit just in case. So easy and fun to work with, I highly highly recommend these wonderful ladies!

The perfect hair & makeup artist is such an integral part of your wedding day - they help you feel & look your best, bring together your bridal vision and set the tone for the day. As someone who does her hair & makeup on a daily basis, I knew that finding the perfect HMUA was going to be a challenge. Most were either too subtle, or too over-the-top - I couldn't find that perfect sweet spot. Until I found Beauty Icon. <br> Liza & her team are amazing. I worked with Liza on my hair & makeup trial as well as on my wedding day, and she did not disappoint. She's so incredibly talented, open and encouraging - she made me feel like the most beautiful version of myself, but never hesitated to make any tweaks or adjustments I asked for. My makeup looked perfect in photos, and everyone was absolutely in love with the hair look she created. Her team also did a phenomenal job on my bridal party, creating cohesive yet tailored looks for everyone, and constantly making sure everyone was happy with the outcome. My bridesmaids commented all day on how calming and reassuring they were, how gentle their application was, and how fantastic they felt. <br> On top of that, Liza was beyond flexible with the wedding day scheduling, even when I changed the start time again 2 days prior. Nothing was ever an inconvenience, and she made sure that everyone stayed on schedule, which was incredibly important to me. I was referred to Beauty Icon by a friend and I am so happy I chose them for my wedding. Liza did my hair and make-up and from the second I walked into my trial I knew I could trust her for my wedding day. I had a VERY large bridal party; on the day Liza and Anna B, Mai, and Jessica all came/set up early, somehow they finished 27 services (hair & make up) ahead of our timeline. All of the girls looked incredible. I joked that I did not feel relaxed on the day until I sat down in the chair with Liza and I have never felt/looked more beautiful. It was an unseasonably hot day in NYC and my hair and make-up lasted until I went to bed at 5am. Furthermore, my mom never wears make-up and was feeling very “old looking” leading up to the wedding. Liza was transformative, not only did my mom look gorgeous but more importantly, it restored her confidence. Thank you to Liza and her team for an incredible, relaxed morning, and enhancing the beauty and confidence of the most important women in my life.

My bridal makeup was stunning and you delivered on the look I was going for, which was a high-glam, smoky eye, with full coverage and medium contour – which I recognize is not the typical bridal request. You perfectly executed this look while enhancing my own features and not looking overdone or like a stage performer. I also looked like myself, and not someone else. You also did a beautiful makeup look for my mother, who is very conservative and does not wear makeup at all. You gave her a very soft, natural look, and she looked stunning. You also did beautiful job on the bridesmaids and they looked like movie stars. I also appreciate that you took your time with your craft and yet remained on schedule. The hairstylist you brought with you also did a beautiful job with everyone’s hair. I loved my updo and the bridesmaids loved their updos and flowing curls. I also thank you for coming out all the way to Rye, NY from NYC/NJ and getting to my bridal suite on time (9am). For anyone considering Liz for their wedding, she is not only a talented makeup artist, but she is also highly professional in that she is punctual, accommodating, listens to what the client wants and delivers on that. She also has great energy and has a relaxing and calming approach. Even though we had a makeup and hair schedule, no one felt rushed and she even had time for some of the girls who didn’t elect to have makeup, but at the last minute decided that they wanted some eyelashes. Other things worth mentioning: Liz brought me a hydrating mask, which I wore before she started my makeup look. She also provided me with some of the lipstick I was wearing in a small vial so that I can reapply my lipstick through the day/evening. Also, I only did 1 makeup trial with Liz, which involved a bright red lipstick look. I later on changed my mind about wearing a red lip for my wedding, and so she executed that look I wanted on my wedding day without having practiced the look on me prior to the wedding and nailed it.

I used Galina for my hair and makeup on my wedding day and was generally very pleased! She was flexible with last minute schedule changes and arrived on time. She was super sweet and calm and a pleasure to get ready with.

Liz, Paulina and team are incredibly professional and talented. They were on time, organized and ran ahead of schedule which is on of the best things you can ask for on your wedding day. They preformed hair service on myself and bridal party and did an absolutely amazing job. The bridesmaids all requested different and unique hairstyles and they all looked beautiful and lasted throughout the heat during the day and well through the night. Liz did my hair and it was everything I could have imagined. It was beyond beautiful and lasted ALL NIGHT. It was also extra special because we were trying to find a way to incorporate my grandmothers pin into my look and Liz suggested we pin it in my hair and it was beautiful and the best idea! Again- I could not recommend them enough. The team at Beauty Icon was such a special part of my wedding day.
