Hair should be damp if receiving only blow drying service. Should I do Wedding Makeup in New York
Yes, in New York, our talented makeup artists and stylists offer a wide range of services that cater to various styles and preferences, making us an excellent choice for your bridal makeup and hair services.
Do you do individual lashes?
Yes, we actually prefer individual lashes over strips for multiple reasons. They stay better on and don't come off like strips do, they are very comfortable even if you never worn them before, they are applied individually so we can control the amount and the effect of it (ex. more elongated or rounder application, or simply put them only at the end of the eye).
Do you do airbrush?
Unfortunately, we no longer offer airbush and we have a pretty strong opinion about it. Currently makeup market ooffers a large variety of foundations that allow us to cater every applications to each client's need, when airbrush comes in one-two formular in different shades where you cannot control the finish, the coverage and the final look. Using regular foundation option allows us to provide soft, natural or full coverage based on clients nees + allows us to do multiple skin care steps in order to target necessary areas (prepare skin with primers, serums, moisturizers, etc). We feel that airbrushed makeup is heavier than what our usual brides want.
Do you recommend individual or strip lashes?
We do recommend using strip lashes! They stay better on and don't come off like strips do, they are very comfortable even if you never worn them before, they are applied individually so we can control the amount and the effect of it (ex. more elongated or rounder application, or simply put them only at the end of the eye).
Do you offer trials and where do they take place?
Of course, we do offer trials and we love them! We usually meet our brides on our studion in midtown Manhaattan. Trials allow the bride to meet her stylist, to discuss all the details of her look and hear a professional advice and of course to try hair & makeup look with her artist. She is allowed to do small changes in hair and makeup to make sure the look is exaclty what she imagined!
Can I bring someone to my trial?
We do recommend experiencing the trial on your own, however if you have someone in your cirlce whose support is necessary for you and you know they will not be projecting their own expectations and they will prioretize your vision - in that case you can bring a company!
Is a trial necessary?
Trial is something 95% of our brides choose to do and we love doing trials. It takes off the preasure of your big day, however if you know you are easy going and you do not feel like spending more money on it. you can skip the trial and simply exchange inspiration pictures with your artist. In this case we reommend to at least chat with your stylist about details of your look and necessary preparation steps. Especially in case you need to add extensions - your artist can guide you on how and where to get them.
